We were just sitting around and wondering, oh covid, we hate you so but you made Lunar New Year so much more bearable — No awkward conversations with weird aunts and uncles, no repeats of “when are you getting married”, “when are you having a kid”, “what’re your future plans” … Chinese New Year this year was simple, peaceful and precious. We only get to spend them with our loved ones! And that includes … our furkids!

Aptly titled #idratherbehomewithmydog, this series features our dogs, Simba and Dale, mostly Simba the Smart Alec, up to their mischiefs! So we named him Confuse-cious. #LOL. Now he’s got something to say about our future plans …

But of cos we let our furkids do the usual traditional things with us, like, watch us eat yummy glutinous rice balls on the 15th day of CNY and feast on konnyaku jelly Koi fishes for more kachings. That’s what grammy said. That’s the, y’know, reward for keeping us home.
